APC clears 12 aspirants for Fashola's seat

All Progressives Congress (APC)in Lagos cleared 12 aspirants intending to succeed Governor Babatunde Fashola. Those cleared by the party include the state:

All cleared aspirants were certified in Ikoyi for the party’s governorship primaries, which will be held on Thursday.

• Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Obafemi Hamzat ,
• The Senate Minority Whip, Senator Ganiyu Solomon, 
• The Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Adeyemi Ikuforiji, 
• former Accountant-General of the state, Akinwunmi Ambode 
• Former Commissioner for Health, Dr. Leke Pitan. 
• Former Chief Detail to Senator Bola Tinubu, Tayo Ayinde, 
• Former Attorney-General 
• Commissioner for Justice, Olasupo Shasore, 
• Former Commissioner for Special Duties, Dr. Tola Kasali
• Adetokuno Wahab among other aspirants.
